A total of 2,877 candidates took the TNPSC Group-1 written exam across 13 centres in Ramanathapuram district on Sunday.
The written exam for 46 vacancies—including Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) and Deputy Collector positions—under the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) was held on Sunday. The examination took place across 13 schools and colleges in Ramanathapuram.
A total of 3,723 candidates from Ramanathapuram district had applied for this exam. In the written examination, 2,877 candidates participated, while 846 candidates were absent.
District Collector M. Sivaguru Prabakaran visited and inspected the examination held at the Infant Jesus Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Ramanathapuram.
