4,172 candidates appear for SI recruitment test in Virudhunagar district

A total of 4,172 candidates, turned up for the written test conducted by Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board for recruitment to the posts of Sub-Inspector of Police, in Virudhunagar district on Sunday.

This included 3,276 men and 896 women.

The candidates appeared in four centres set up in Virudhunagar, krishnankoil, and Sattur.

Inspector General of Police, CSCID, Rupesh Kumar Meena, who is the Special Check Officer for the examination, along with Virudhunagar Superintendent of Police, D. Kannan, inspected the examination centres.

A total of 6,226 candidates, including 4,747 men and 1,479 women, had been issued hall tickets to appear for the test.
