98.48 % of rural roads under PMGSY completed in Udupi district, says Union minister

In all, 587 km of 596 km (98.48 %) rural road network sanctioned to Udupi district under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) has been completed, Union Minister of State for Rural Development Kamlesh Paswan told the Lok Sabha on Tuesday.

Replying to an unstarred question by Kota Srinivas Poojary, Member of Parliament of Udupi-Chikkamagaluru, the Minister said that all 12 bridges sanctioned to Udupi district under PMGSY have been completed, he said.
