Collector distributes welfare assistance – The Hindu

Collector M. Thangavel on Wednesday distributed welfare assistance worth ₹.4 crore to 1,461 beneficiaries at a function held here.

While 1,140 beneficiaries were given orders for pension under the Indira Gandhi National Pension Scheme and Widow Pension Scheme, 102 were given loans to the tune of ₹1.39 crore on behalf of the Cooperative Department.

Mr. Thangavel also issued orders to 100 beneficiaries for change of name in property tax and water tax documents under the Department of Municipal Administration and Water Supply.
