The Union government has proposed a second phase of financial assistance amounting to ₹8,097 crore for the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP), A.P. BJP State media coordinator Venna Srirama Murthy said in a release here on Saturday.
He stated that formal proposals have already been submitted to the Union Ministry of Steel and the Finance Ministry for final approval.
