Prajaseva Abhiyana: CM to receive public grievances at Periyapatna on Oct. 3

Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar will participate in the Prajaseva Abhiyana in Periyapatna taluk on Saturday and personally receive grievances and petitions from the public.

Disclosing this at a preparatory meeting here on Wednesday, Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Yukesh Kumar S. directed officials of all departments to attend the programme personally instead of deputing subordinate staff.

As a large number of people are expected to submit petitions in the presence of the Chief Minister, arrangements should be made to ensure their orderly submission. A token system should be introduced to regulate the queue, he said.

Department-wise stalls should be set up to receive grievances, with necessary facilities, including computers, printers and other equipment. Officials should begin receiving petitions from 8 a.m., he said.

Mr. Kumar directed officials to submit details of petitions received and disposed of through the Integrated Public Grievance Redressal System (IPGRS) in the district.

He also instructed officials in Periyapatna taluk to undertake wide publicity in villages about the Prajaseva Abhiyana.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Aishwarya R., Mysuru City Corporation Commissioner M.K. Savita and other officials were present.
