The Poorna Chethana School has organised ‘Mysuru Heritage Treasure Hunt’ for students and their parents on December 21. The event will also feature a heritage flash mob, through which students will showcase Mysuru’s culture and traditions.
The programme aims to instil cultural awareness among children while strengthening the parent-child bond. Designed for children below 16 years, the event will begin at 7 a.m. at Sri Kote Anjaneya Swamy Temple. The competition will conclude at the same venue.
Each participating team will be provided with a special treasure kit containing 10 clues. A press release explained that teams will have to visit historical and heritage locations in Mysuru city and solve the clues.
The winning teams will receive cash prizes of ₹10,000, ₹7,500, and ₹5,000, along with trophies. All participating teams will be awarded certificates. For registration, participants can send a WhatsApp message to 7204836513, the release added.
