A ‘College Bazaar’, an exhibition and sale of products made by women self-help groups, organised by the State government, was inaugurated at M.V.M. Government Arts College for Women in Dindigul on Thursday.
The exhibition featured 35 stalls showcasing a variety of products, including garments, fancy items, cosmetics, millet-based foods, cloth bags and fancy bags, Chinnalapatti saris and churidars, and healthy biscuits.
The products were made by women self-help groups from Dindigul and other districts. Students visited the stalls in large numbers and purchased the products. A sales target of ₹2 lakh has been set for the two-day event.
