The Railways will operate two round trips of special train services between Charlapalli (near Hyderabad) and Mangaluru to clear extra rush of passengers.
A release from Palakkad Division of Southern Railway here said Train No. 07267 Charlapalli–Mangaluru Junction Festival Special Express will leave Charlapalli at 11.30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 24 to reach Mangaluru Junction at 6.05 a.m. on Friday, December 26. Train No. 07268 Mangaluru Junction–Charlapalli Festival Special Express will leave Mangaluru Junction at 9.55 a.m. on Friday, December 26 to reach Charlapalli at 5 p.m. the next day.
The train will have one First AC, two -2-tier AC, five 3-tier AC, 12 sleeper class, two general and two second class cum luggage brake van coaches.
Train No. 07269 Charlapalli–Mangaluru Central Festival Special Express will leave Charlapalli at 11.30 p.m. on Sunday, December 28 to reach Mangaluru Central at 6.55 a.m. on December 30, Tuesday. Train No. 07270 Mangaluru Central – Charlapalli Festival Special Express will leave Mangaluru Central at 9.55 a.m. on December 30 to reach Charlapalli at 5 p.m. the next day.
The train will have nine 3-tier AC, five 3-tier AC Economy, four general second class, one second class cum luggage van and one generator car coaches.
The trains will halt at Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, Nadikudi, Piduguralla, Sattenapalle, Guntur Jn, Tenali Jn, Chirala, Ongole, Nellore, Perambur, Katpadi Jn, Jolarpettai Jn, Salem Jn, Erode Jn, Tiruppur, Podanur Jn, Palakkad Jn, Shoranur Jn, Tirur, Kozhikode, Vadakara, Thalassery, Kannur and Kasargod.
