A district-level camp on the Deposit Education and Awareness Fund will be held in Thiruvananthapuram on Friday. The event is being organised as part of the ‘Your Money, Your Right’ public awareness campaign launched by the Union Finance Ministry, a statement on Wednesday said. District Collector Anu Kumari will inaugurate the camp at the YWCA Hall at 10.30 a.m. As part of the camp, digital help desks and assistance counters will be set up to recover unclaimed bank deposits, insurance claims, dividends, pension and mutual funds. Assistance is also available for KYC updates, filling up claim forms and verifying documents. The camp will be a continuation of the earlier campaign conducted through various bank branches in Thiruvananthapuram district, the statement said. Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Canara Bank, Central Bank of India, Indian Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, Punjab National Bank, State Bank of India, Union Bank of India, Kerala Gramin Bank and Kerala Bank are among the participants.
