VMRDA officials inspect major road project

Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Region Development Authority (VMRDA) Metropolitan Commissioner N. Tej Bharath, along with Bheemili MLA Ganta Srinivasa Rao, inspected the Adavivaram–Gandigundam Road, a major project proposed over a length of eight km. This road is one of the eight major arterial master plan roads being developed by the VMRDA.

Speaking on the occasion after the inspection, the Metropolitan Commissioner directed the officials and the contractor to expedite the works in stretches where there are no obstructions or impediments.

Subsequently, the Metropolitan Commissioner visited the layouts being developed by the VMRDA for the middle-income group in Ramavaram and Sontyam areas. He reviewed the progress of the works and instructed the staff to take steps to enhance greenery in the parks within the layouts, develop them aesthetically, and carry out the development works in a manner that ensures satisfaction of the plot owners.
