Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar, MP for Mysuru, has said that funds have been released for the construction of Ayushman Arogya Mandirs in the Mysuru Lok Sabha constituency.
The NDA government at the Centre, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has accorded priority to strengthening the healthcare sector, and the initiative is part of this effort, he added.
In a press release, the MP shared details of the funds sanctioned for various locations in the constituency comprising Mysuru and Kodagu. An amount of ₹65 lakh has been released for the construction of an Ayushman Arogya Mandir at Chikkahosuru (Koppa) village in Piriyapatna taluk.
Mr. Wadiyar said that he had earlier met the Union Minister concerned and submitted a memorandum seeking the release of funds for the construction of Ayushman Arogya Mandirs, following which the Centre responded positively and sanctioned the funds.
He added that Ayushman Arogya Mandirs would be constructed shortly in several parts of Piriyapatna and Hunsur in the constituency.
Under the PM-ABHIM scheme, funds have been sanctioned for the construction of Ayushman Arogya Mandirs in the Mysuru constituency. The healthcare facilities will be built at a cost of ₹65 lakh each in the following villages of Piriyapatna taluk: Chikkahosuru (Koppa), Kiranahalli (Dodda Byalalu), Dodda Harave (Koppa), N. Shettihalli–Tammadahalli (Kittur), Mantihalli–Belagali (Chikkaneralu), Koyamatturu, and Ballehalli (Ratnapuri).
“Our priority is to ensure good healthcare for everyone. We are committed to building a healthy society by providing accessible and timely medical services. The public should also cooperate in this endeavour,” Mr. Wadiyar said.
