With a few days left for the conclusion of his Indraprastha Chaturmasya Vrata at Delhi, Udupi Pejawar mutt seer and trustee of Sri Ramjanmabhoomi Tirth Kshetra Trust Vishwaprasanna Tirtha Swami met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his residence in New Delhi on Tuesday.
Mr. Modi received the seer with respect and extended his greetings. As the birth centenary of the seer’s guru Vishwesha Tirtha Swami will be held in 2031, the seer has launched a five-year plan. The Prime Minister released the logo. The seer felicitated the Prime Minister by donning a Yakshagana crown, offering a shawl, a gold-plated Kaliya Krishna statue, and phala-mantrakshate.
In his message, the seer said the Chaturmasya Vrata at Indraprastha had brought great joy. He was happy that sitting in the national capital to perform the Chaturmasya, it was an occasion to conduct religious rituals and engage in satsanga for the people. It was very meaningful that the logo was unveiled by the Prime Minister.
Mr. Modi said the contributions of Vishwesha Tirtha and the Pejawar mutt to society have always been an inspiration. May the birth centenary projects of the guru be successful and further strengthen society and the country. Udupi and Dwarka have a very close relationship. Therefore, he suggested that a project should be made including Dwarka in the birth centenary project.
