As part of the 50th anniversary celebration of the Indian Coast Guard, a bike rally from Thoothukudi en route to Chennai was flagged off at the Puducherry Coast Guard District Headquarters No. 13 on Thursday.
The motorists who had set out on January 19 reached the city via Mandapam, Karaikal. The rally headed for Chennai was flagged off by DIG S.S. Dasila, TM, District Commander, Puducherry and Central Tamil Nadu, a press note said.
