Canara Bank launches e-ticketing kiosk at Pilikula

Canara Bank launched an e-ticketing kiosk at Pilikula Nisargadhama in Mangaluru on Sunday.

With this, visitors to all tourist attractions at the Nisargadhama can purchase entry tickets online.

Dakshina Kannada Deputy Commissioner H.V. Darshan inaugurated the kiosk. Manjunath B. Singai, general manager of Canara Bank’s Mangaluru Circle Officewas present.

Speaking on the occasion, Vinayak Kharbari, Chief Executive Officer of Dakshina Kannada Zilla Panchayat, said that such banking initiatives support public convenience and promote financial inclusion.

Tigers let into enclosures at zoo

Meanwhile, two one-year-old tigers, born in captivity at Pilikula Biological Park (zoo), were let into their enclosures at the zoo on Sunday for visitors to see. The tigers have been named as Tennyson and Oliver. They were adopted by Cardolite Speciality Chemicals Pvt. Ltd., Mangaluru.
