Chief Minister Stalin accorded warm reception at Thoothukudi airport

Chief Minister M. K. Stalin was accorded an exhilarating reception at Thoothukudi airport on Saturday afternoon, by Ministers, party members and officials.

The Chief Minister later proceeded to Tirunelveli for the inauguration of Porunai Archaeological Museum. On Sunday, he is scheduled to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for various completed and new projects, at the event to be held at Tirunelveli Government Medical College and Hospital grounds.

Thoothukudi Collector K. Elambahavath welcomed the Chief Minister. Thoothukudi MP Kanimozhi Karunanidhi, Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly Speaker M. Appavu, Finance Minister Thangam Thennarasu, Social Welfare and Women Empowerment Minister P. Geetha Jeevan, Fisheries and Animal Husbandry Minister Anitha Radhakrishnan, Dairy Development Minister T. Mano Thangaraj, Revenue Minister K. K. S. S. R. Ramachnadran and Thoothukudi Mayor Jegan Periyasamy were among the dignitaries who welcomed Mr. Stalin at Thoothukudi airport.

A large number of party cadres gathered outside the airport to welcome the Chief Minister. He also received petitions from members of the public waiting there.
