Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan will present the Prof. M.P. Manmadhan Akshaya Awards-2026 instituted by Akshaya Pusthakanidhi and Ebenezer Educational Association here on September 26.
He will present the awards to Sreekumaran Thampi, poet and lyricist; P. Ramachandran, secretary of Ernakulam Karayogam; E.N. Nandakumar, president of the Kochi International Book Festival committee; and Suresh P. Nair, president of Kerala Kala Samithi, Surat. He will felicitate writer Payipra Radhakrishnan at the event to be held at Bharat Tourist Home, Ernakulam, according to a communication.
The Chief Minister will release the works Akatheku Thurakunna Vaathilukal’, Ekalopanam, and Saraputhri penned by Payipra Radhakrishnan by handing over the copies to Sreekumaran Thampi.
