Cockroach Janta Party turns focus to SIR voter deletions, asks Telangana volunteers to help affected electors

The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) Telangana unit has turned its focus to the deletions of voters’ names during the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise, asking its volunteers to identify affected electors and help them seek rectification.

This was among the many other issues discussed at a volunteer meeting organised by the party at Lamakaan in Hyderabad on Saturday (September 26, 2026) where members from different parts of Telangana gathered to discuss grassroots outreach, citizens’ rights and the party’s organisational expansion.

The CJP leadership also reiterated its three demands concerning Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar and discussed the need for volunteers to fact-check cases involving voters whose names were allegedly removed from electoral rolls during the SIR exercise.

The meeting was led by CJP South Zone in-charge and media head Vijay Mallangi. The meeting came in the wake of a recent visit by the CJP team, led by Mr. Mallangi, to MGM Hospital Warangal. The party said the visit was followed by the Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy directing officials to expedite the ongoing construction works at the hospital.

Beyond the immediate political issues, the meeting was aimed at building a wider volunteer network across the State and familiarising members with the party’s ideology and principles. The leadership spoke to volunteers about democratic and constitutional values and the role of citizens in protecting their fundamental rights.

The participants later took a pledge based on the principles enshrined in the Constitution of India, reaffirming their commitment to uphold constitutional values in their public and organisational activities. The meeting also served as a platform for volunteers from different regions to exchange views and coordinate their activities.
