The Coimbatore Corporation has introduced app-based ticketing for the recently inaugurated 45-acre Semmozhi Poonga in Gandhipuram to streamline visitor access.
Visitors can download the newly launched Semmozhi Poonga mobile app to book tickets in advance. The app also provides information on park timings, gardens, and the variety of plants within the park.
Officials said that since opening to the public, the park has recorded its highest single-day footfall of around 27,000 visitors, including school students. To avoid long queues and delays at the counters, visitors are advised to book tickets in advance through the Semmozhi Poonga App or the Namma Kovai Citizen App.
