Situated at the southern tip of Mayiladuthurai district, bordering Cuddalore district, the Kollidam bus stop has long been a source of frustration for more than 2,000 commuters who pass through it daily.
Despite its strategic importance as a busy transit junction connecting the two districts, the facility continues to languish without basic amenities — no drinking water, inadequate seating, no public toilets, and no two-wheeler parking stand — grievances that residents say have gone unaddressed for decades.
