Chaotic traffic conditions at the Senthaneerpuram intersection on the Chennai-Tiruchi-Madurai National Highway section has raised concerns over road safety among motorists in the city.
The intersection, where traffic from the service lane from Palpannai and the Senthaneerpuram sides merge into the highway, has turned an accident zone as vehicles from different directions converge at the spot to enter the highway, complain residents.
