D.M. Mannur passes away – The Hindu

D.M. Mannur, who was former agriculture scientist associated with the Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Kalaburagi, passed away due to cardiac arrest here on Tuesday morning.

He is survived by his wife and two sons.

Dr. Mannur played an important role in red gram (tur) varietal research and made notable contributions to agricultural research and extension services during his career.

He was known for promoting scientific farming practices and supporting farmers through field-based research.

Several agricultural experts and former colleagues have expressed deep sorrow over his demise, remembering him as a dedicated scientist who served the farming community with commitment and integrity.
