Require reliable power supply

Frequent power cuts in Ramanathapuram town cause hardship to traders, students, hospitalised patients, senior citizens, labourers and homemakers. Uninterrupted power supply is essential for the State’s industrial progress and the daily lives of residents.

Chief Minister Joseph Vijay should give special attention to the issue and direct the authorities to take immediate remedial measures to ensure a reliable power supply.

NHAI Road shut on Vadipatti-Melur stretch

The newly opened NHAI laid road between Vadipatti and Melur in Madurai district has been welcomed by many motorists travelling from Dindigul towards southern pockets. However, people wanting to enter Madurai city at the Natham intersection on the Vadipatti-Melur NHAI road are unable to proceed to the city as the road is closed for reasons not known. The staffs at the toll collection plaza too refuse to tell the reasons. Will the authorities open the road and facilitate a safe driving experience for the motorists.
