The district monitoring committee meeting was convened at the Krishnagiri Collectorate on Wednesday by Shilpa Prabhakar Satish, District Monitoring Officer and Secretary, Department of Commercial Tax and Registration.
A review of the 228 ‘Ungaludan Stalin’ camps that were held in three phases was also carried out.
The District Monitoring Officer reviewed the petitions received under the listed and unlisted services, and the status of the petitions, the numbers that were processed and those others that were still pending. In addition, consultations were held on various programmes and schemes and the issue of identity cards under various schemes, along with water distribution under the Hogenakkal drinking water scheme.
Later, Ms. Prabhakar also chaired the TN RIGHTS meeting and the executive committee meeting for the differently-abled persons at the Collectorate.
District Collector C. Dinesh Kumar was present.
