DPS Dwarka to remove 25 students over ‘unpaid fee’; parents seek DoE’s help

Parents of at least 25 DPS Dwarka students on Tuesday sought the Directorate of Education’s (DoE) intervention after receiving notices from the school that their children’s names will be struck off the rolls over “outstanding fee”, prompting the Opposition to accuse the government of shielding private schools.

The school, in notices sent on Monday, informed parents that due to unpaid fee, students’ names would be removed from the rolls from April 7, in accordance with the Delhi School Education Act and Rules (DSEAR), 1973.
