ED officials arrest Kesireddy Rajasekhar Reddy in A.P. liquor transport scam

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials have arrested former IT Advisor to the previous YSRCP government, Kesireddy Rajasekhar Reddy, alias Raj Kesireddy, who was named accused in the alleged liquor transport scam.

The ED officers conducted searches on the houses and other properties belonging to Kesireddy and other accused in Hyderabad on Thursday.

After searching Kesireddy’s house at Nanakramguda in Hyderabad, the ED officials reportedly arrested him.

The ED teams also conducted raids on the houses and offices of former Andhra Pradesh State Beverages Corporation Limited (APSBCL) Managing Director Donthireddy Vasudeva Reddy. The investigation officers were questioning him, sources said.

In a related development, the ED authorities searched the properties of former Civil Supplies Minister Karumuri Nageswara Rao, who is facing charges in the alleged liquor scam.

The accused is likely to be produced before the court, the investigation officers said.
