Collector M.N. Harendhira Prasad flagged off an awareness rally on energy conservation organised by the Visakhapatnam Operational Circle of EPDCL at RK Beach on Monday.
The Collector said that conserving energy today paves a bright path for the future.
He stated that wasting energy is harmful to theĀ environment, and urged the discom staff to spread awareness especially among students on how to conserve energy, and to promote the benefits of solar and other renewable energy resources.
The EPDCL staff including Polaki Srinivasa Rao attended the event.
