Excise officials arrested one person and seized ganja and liquor worth several lakhs during multiple enforcement operations carried out in and around Hyderabad as part of a special drive against narcotics and non-duty-paid liquor.
In one case, teams from the State Task Force-A team arrested a man selling ganja on Peerzadiguda–Parvathapur road in Ghatkesar. The accused, identified as Kumari Gopi, was found in possession of 1.3 kilograms of ganja.
