The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) organised an awareness exhibition on ancient inscriptions at Kamaraj College here on Wednesday.
Principal of the college Bhanumathi inaugurated the 3-day event. Head of ASI’s inscription division, Chennai, Yesu Babu and other senior officials from ASI explained the inscriptions displayed in the exhibition.
The ASI has displayed good number of banners showing inscriptions recovered from various parts of Tamil Nadu that explains the ancient Tamil culture, history, religion etc.
