Five IAS officers promoted to cadre of Secretary to Government in Andhra Pradesh

The Andhra Pradesh government has promoted five IAS officers of the 2010 batch to the Super Time Scale (Level-14 in the Pay Matrix), equivalent to the Secretary to Government cadre, with effect from January 1, 2026. The officers promoted are Narayana Bharath Gupta, Amrapali Kata, J. Nivas, Gandam Chandrudu and Chadalawada Naga Rani.

Following the promotions, Dr. Narayana Bharath Gupta has been retained in his current post and re-designated as Commissioner of Collegiate Education and State Project Director (RUSA); Amrapali Kata will continue as Vice-Chairperson and Managing Director of the Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation; Gandam Chandrudu has been posted as Commissioner of Labour, relieving M.V. Seshagiri Babu of the full additional charge; Chadalawada Naga Rani will continue as Collector and District Magistrate of West Godavari district.
