Folklore awards announced – The Hindu

Minister for Cultural Affairs Saji Cherian on Wednesday announced the Kerala Folklore Academy Awards for the year 2023. A total of 162 awards were announced across various categories, including fellowships, Guru Puja Award, literary award, youth talent awards and for documentary making. The fellowship carries a cash prize of ₹15,000, while the general awards, Guru Puja award, literary award and documentary-making award carry a cash prize of ₹7,500. The awards also include a citation and a medal.
