Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has asserted that the State Government is promoting Telangana as the best destination for global investments as the focus is on the all round development of the State.

The government is firm that the focus should be on development confining politics to the election time. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is working for the goal of achieving Viksit Bharat by 2047 coinciding with the 100 years of India’s Independence and the State Government has come up with a similar Telangana Rising vision for the period setting a target of achieving US $1 trillion economy by 2034 and US $3 trillion economy by 2047.

“Our goal is to ensure that the State contributes at least 10% of the GDP as against the 5% it is contributing now,” he said. Participating in the global summit organised by Samakhya Chamber of Commerce in Hyderabad on Wednesday (October 14, 2026), the Chief Minister explained the participants about the government’s vision towards achieving the target set for 2047 by dividing the State into CURE, PURE and RARE regions.

He appealed to the investors to join hands with the government to achieve the goals of Telangana Rising assuring that all necessary support would be provided and steps would be taken to protect investments by pursuing investor friendly policies. In the process, local entrepreneurs should become partners in the industrial policy and make investments for growing globally rather than confining themselves to providing services to corporates.

Listing the women empowerment schemes launched by his government, he suggested that the chamber of commerce encourage youth and women entrepreneurs to strengthen the country economically further. The State Government on its part provided bank linkages worth ₹61,000 crore to women besides taking steps to make them owners of Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) buses, petrol bunks, and solar plants.

Commending the chambers for organising a major event to foster the growth of the new generation, he appreciated the Munnuru Kapu community for excelling in various fields including cinema and politics.
