H.S. Keerthana is new MD of NWKRTC

H.S. Keerthana, an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the 2020 Karnataka cadre, assumed charge as the new Managing Director of the North Western Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (NWKRTC) on September 28.

Ms. Keerthana had earlier served as the Chief Executive Officer of the Chikkamagaluru Zilla Panchayat.

As the previous MD of the NWKRTC Priyanga M. was sanctioned maternity leave, the government had given the additional charge of the NWKRTC to Managing Director of HESCOM Vaishali M.L. on September 9.

As Ms. Vaishali was subsequently transferred as MD of MSIL in Bengaluru, the State government posted Ms. Keerthana as the new Managing Director of the NWKRTC.
