The State government has granted permission to the Directorate of Medical Education (DME) and Research to start M.A. Clinical Psychology course with an annual intake of 18 seats at the Institute of Mental Health (IMH), Chennai from the academic year 2026-2027.
IMH has been conducting an M.Phil Clinical Psychology course since 2016. Now, the Rehabilitation Council of India has replaced M.Phil Clinical Psychology with M.A. Clinical Psychology following which a proposal for starting the course was submitted to the government.
