YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and his wife Bharati participated in the Ugadi celebrations marking the onset of ‘Sri Parabhava Nama Samvatsaram’, at his camp office at Tadepalli on Thursday.
Vedic scholars accorded them a traditional welcome with ‘Poornakumbham’ upon their arrival. Renowned scholar Pidaparthi Bhaskara Subrahmanya Sastry conducted the ‘Panchanga Sravanam’and Vedic scholars offered blessings and presented ‘teertha prasadam’ to the couple and others who were present.
On the auspicious occasion, Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy conveyed his wishes to the party leaders and cadres and his supporters, and the people of both the Telugu States.
