Jana Sena Party leader Avanapu Vikram on Wednesday expressed confidence that the party would achieve a 100% strike rate in the forthcoming local body elections, similar to its performance in the 2024 general elections. He said the party’s public image had strengthened significantly following the effective implementation of the ‘Palle Panduga’ and other programmes by the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Departments, which are handled by Deputy Chief Minister and Jana Sena Party president K. Pawan Kalyan.

Along with Jana Sena Party leader and former chairperson of the Vizianagaram District Cooperative Marketing Society, Avanapu Bhavana, Mr. Vikram released the party’s 2026 calendar and addressed a media conference. He explained the party’s initiatives aimed at winning public support in the local body elections.

Mr. Vikram said that the Union government had selected the A.P. Panchayat Raj Department for the Rashtriya Gramswaraj Abhiyan award, as the State secured first place in the implementation of schemes formulated by both the Union and State governments. He added that the party would soon launch a new membership drive, noting that people from all sections were keen to join Jana Sena Party due to its clean image and the effective administration of Mr. Pawan Kalyan.
