Jana Sena Party (JSP) senior leaders Avanapu Vikram and Avanapu Bhavana on Tuesday (February 10, 2026) urged the government to initiate stern action against YSRCP leaders, who they charged were responsible for the usage of adulterated ghee in Tirumala Laddu Prasadam. The party organised a massive rally from Vizianagaram to Lord Ramaâs historic temple Ramateertham of Nellimarla constituency to highlight the issue.
Speaking to media on the occasion, Mr. Vikram said that sanctity of Tirumala and other temples needed to be protected. He hoped that the State governmentâs probe would identify the culprits involved in supply of adulterated ghee for preparation of laddu prasadam.
âJana Sena Party president and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan was the first leader to highlight the wrongful acts that had taken place in Lord Venkateswara temple in Tirumala. Now, it is being proved without any doubt. YSRCP should offer an apology openly for hurting sentiments of Hindu community,â said Mr. Vikram.
