The Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) on Monday (May 4, 2026) secured a decisive victory in the 2026 Kerala Assembly elections, unseating the Left Democratic Front (LDF) after its decade-long rule.
The UDF collectively won 102 seats, with Indian National Congress securing 63 seats, while Indian Union Muslim League won 22 seats and Kerala Congress (KEC) seven seats. The Revolutionary Socialist Party won three seats, and Kerala Congress (Jacob) one seat.
