The 13th edition of the Kerala Travel Mart (KTM), arguably India’s largest tourism and hospitality industry event, will be held in Kochi from September 24 to 27. The event will feature business-to-business meetings, policy-level discussions, and seminars, and will be attended by leading industry stakeholders as well as national and international experts. The inauguration will take place at Grand Hyatt Kochi, Bolgatty, on September 24.
The business meetings, the central component of the event, will be conducted from September 25 to 27 at Sagara and Samudrika Convention Centre on Willingdon Island. The upcoming edition of the KTM is expected to attract more than 400 international buyers and over 1,500 domestic buyers, including hosted buyers and high-value MICE and wedding planners. The Kerala Travel Mart Society, which organises the event, is making concerted efforts to increase participation from new markets while also expanding buyer representation from existing markets.
Addressing a press meet here on Wednesday, Tourism Minister P.A. Mohamed Riyas said the three-day event would feature more than 400 seller stalls of varying sizes and facilitate over 60,000 pre-scheduled B2B meetings. Highlighting the crucial role played by tour operators and travel agents in tourism development, the Minister said the KTM provides an ideal platform for buyers and sellers to gain a comprehensive understanding of Kerala’s tourism potential. He added that the KTM would help drive innovative transformation in the tourism sector.
On the occasion, the Minister also launched the promotional video for KTM 2026, while Kerala Tourism Secretary Biju K. unveiled the revamped website of the Kerala Travel Mart Society. KTM Society president Jose Pradeep said that all procedures related to the mart, including registration, B2B meetings, and seminars, would be fully digitised, supported by upgraded software and a dedicated mobile application. Post-event tours are scheduled from September 28 to October 3 across 12 different sectors, while familiarisation tours for invited foreign and domestic media representatives will be conducted ahead of the event.
