LPG shortage: Midday meals in schools, government hostels not hit in Dakshina Kannada

Disruption in the supply of commercial LPG cylinders has not affected the midday meals in schools. The kitchens of hostels of Departments of Backward Classes Welfare and Social Welfare are also functioning normally, according to official sources.

Executive Officer, Akshara Dasoha, Dakshina Kannada, M.P. Jnanesh, said the Chief Secretary Shalini Rajaneesh has written a letter to all Deputy Commissioners on Wednesday asking them to ensure supply of gas cylinders to all schools serving midday meals.
