Lt. Governor of Puducherry inaugurates new building for Lawspet police station

Lt. Governor K. Kailashnathan on Sunday inaugurated the building of the Lawspet police station on East Coast Road.

The station was functioning in a rented building, and the foundation stone for the new building was laid in 2022. The new building, constructed at a cost of ₹2.74 crore on 225 sq. metres of land, was inaugurated by Mr. Kailashnathan in the presence of Chief Minister N. Rangasamy. The new building is equipped with all facilities.

Home Minister A. Namassivayam, Speaker R. Selvam, PWD Minister K. Lakshminarayanan, and Director General of Police Shalini Singh attended the event.
