MP Mallu Ravi on Tuesday submitting a representation to Railway Minister in New Delhi regarding the preparation of the DPR for the Dornakal-Gadwal railway line via Nagarkurnool project.
Congress MP from Nagarkurnool Mallu Ravi on Tuesday met Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw at Parliament House and sought early approval of the proposed Dornakal-Gadwal railway line via Nagarkurnool.
During the meeting, Mr. Ravi submitted a representation urging the Ministry of Railways to expedite the survey and preparation of the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the project and accord sanction at the earliest.
He highlighted the importance of the proposed rail link in improving connectivity and promoting socio-economic development in the Nagarkurnool parliamentary constituency and adjoining areas of Telangana.
Responding to the request, Mr. Vaishnaw has assured the MP that the proposal would receive due consideration, according to a statement.
