A 43-year-old man was arrested for issuing a bomb threat to the Chief Minister’s residence and several police stations in the city on Sunday.
Police said the suspect has been identified as Balamurugan, 43. On Sunday, he got drunk and dialled 100. He issued the bomb threats and disconnected the call. A search conducted at the Chief Minister’s residence found the threat to be a hoax.
