Man hacked to death in Sivakasi

Saravanakumar, 48, of Maruthu Pandiyar Middle Street was hacked to death in his house on Saturday.

Police said the deceased man, who was working for a printing unit, had been living alone after separation from his wife following domestic disputes. Unidentified persons barged into his house and attacked him with sharp weapons and hacked him to death. They also crushed his face.

Sivakasi East Police have registered a case of murder and launched a hunt for the assailants.
