A bike mechanic surrendered before a court here on Monday after allegedly murdering his wife
Police said S. Veeramanikandan, 32, a two-wheeler mechanic from Tenkasi, married Annalakshmi, 25, of the same area five months ago. Following frequent domestic quarrel, he allegedly murdered her on Monday and escaped.
Following information, Tenkasi police visited the spot and sent the body to Tenkasi Government Hospital for post-mortem. Even as the police were searching for Veeramanikandan, he surrendered before the Tenkasi Judicial Magistrate Court. Further investigations are on.
