In partnership with the State government, Della Townships will develop the Vasudev Kutumbakam International Township in Tirupati, envisaged as a landmark cultural and tourism-led development of global scale.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on Wednesday to this effect.
The project will span 1,400 acres and be anchored by what is being described as the world’s first 5,000-year Living Exhibition on Hinduism and Hindutva. The initiative is being undertaken under the leadership of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and founder of Della Townships Jimmy Mistry.
The project is envisioned as a long-term cultural institution that seeks to document, preserve, and present the civilisational journey of Hinduism with scholarly depth and authenticity. By bringing together diverse knowledge systems, traditions, philosophies, and lineages from across India, the project aims to create a comprehensive and immersive representation of Hindu civilisation, positioning Tirupati as a global centre for cultural learning and experiential tourism.
From an economic perspective, the project carries a gross development value of approximately ₹35,000 crore and is expected to generate around 20,000 jobs, with nearly 80% of the employment opportunities reserved for local residents.
The project will be developed in close collaboration with the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) and the Andhra Pradesh Tourism Department, strengthening the State’s position as a premier spiritual and cultural destination, said the statement.
The project will include a 300-acre ‘Living Exhibition’ that will feature 25 large-scale immersive pavilions, each covering approximately one lakh square feet. Luxury residences and private villas, along with five-star resorts offering more than 600 keys across various formats, also feature in the project. Destination wedding venues, extreme adventure parks, offering experiences such as bungee jumping, human catapult rides, zip biking, and quad ziplines, are also planned.
A Della Design District, housing 25 to 30 international luxury brands, and a European Medical Wellness Pavilion, an 18-hole international standard golf course with a business club, equestrian sports facilities with an international polo club, and a dedicated senior living hub aimed at promoting holistic and dignified ageing also include in the project plan.
