MA&UD Minister Ponguru Narayana, along with District Collector Himanshu Shukla, conducting a review meeting at the Collectorate in Nellore on Monday.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan will launch development works worth ₹11,085 crore under Palle Panduga 3.0 at Ramapuram village in Varikuntapadu mandal of Udayagiri constituency in SPSR Nellore district on Tuesday.
According to a press release, 15,500 km of roads will be laid in villages at a cost of ₹10,250 crore. As many as 22,000 Mini Gokulams (cattle sheds) will be constructed at a cost of ₹300 crore, while 1,000 km of Magic Drains will be built with ₹110 crore. Horticultural plantations will be taken up over 50,000 acres at a cost of ₹225 crore, and rural infrastructure will be developed with ₹200 crore.
Ahead of the Palle Panduga 3.0 programme and the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister’s visit, Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister P. Narayana, District Collector Himanshu Shukla and senior officials of various departments held a review meeting at the Nellore Collectorate on Monday.
Mr. Narayana reviewed the arrangements for the programme and the district tour and directed officials to ensure that there was no scope for lapses. He asked officials of the Police, Revenue, Municipal Administration, Panchayat Raj, Electricity and Transport departments to work in close coordination round the clock to ensure that VIPs, leaders and the public did not face any inconvenience.
