‘NDA govt. trying to resolve water disputes’

Union Minister of State for Jal Shakthi Raj Bhushan Choudhary on Friday said the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance government was trying its best to solve the inter-State water disputes in the country.  Over 10 inter-State water disputes had been solved till now, Mr. Raj Bhushan Choudhary said in a brief interaction with journalists at the Tiruchi International Airport.

Asked about the Centre’s stand on Karnataka’s Mekedatu dam project, he said the NDA government was trying to solve the dispute.
