No interruption of water supply to NIMS, complete control is with its officials: HMWSSB

The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply & Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB) does not operate any valve on the campus of Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS). The on and off operations, based on water usage, are handled by officials of NIMS themselves, the Water Board said in a clarification on Tuesday.

“Within the hospital premises, two 100-mm bulk connections are linked to separate sumps and the supply remains continuous, 24 hours a day and throughout the year,” it said.
