Online applications for inclusion, deletion of names in the voters list and for incorporating corrections in the name and address and seeking voter ID card can be submitted through the official website of the Election Commission of India.
In a statement, Virudhunagar Collector N.O. Sukhaputra said that the online applications can be submitted through https://voters.eci.gov.in/ or through the mobile app ‘Voter Helpline’.
Any doubts regarding filling out the applications or uploading them on the website, can be cleared by contacting the toll-free number 044-1950.
People can also submit the hard copies of the applications at the Taluk offices and the Revenue Divisional Office, and offices of Assistant Electoral Registration Officers till January 18, 2026.
The district administration would also conduct special camps at all polling stations on between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on December 27 (Saturday) and 28 (Sunday) and January 3, 2026 (Saturday) and 4 (Sunday).
People can check their names in the draft voter list published at polling stations, electoral registration offices and at ECI website.
